Täältä voit lukea työtehtävien kuvaukset ja täyttää vapaaehtoistyöhakemuksen. Valitsemasi työtoiveet pyritään toteuttamaan, mutta hakijoille saatetaan tarjota myös muita tehtäviä. Vegemessujen vapaaehtoinen saa ruokahuollon työvuoronsa ajaksi sekä ilmaisen sisäänpääsyn messuille. Vaparityöstä on mahdollista saada työtodistus.

Here you can read job descriptions and fill out the volunteer job application. We aim to fulfill your chosen job wishes, but applicants may also be offered other tasks. A Vegemessut volunteer receives food service for the duration of their shift and free entry. It is possible to get a work certificate after the shift.

Team leader

• Tiiminvetäjänä ohjaat vapaaehtoisia, perehdytät heidät tehtävään ja pidät vapaaehtoiskoordinaattorin kanssa huolen siitä, että homma toimii. Työ edellyttää hyviä projektinhallintakykyjä ja mahdollisuutta sitoutua kaikkina messupäivinä tehtävään.

• As a team leader, you guide the volunteers, introduce them to the task and, together with the volunteer coordinator, you make sure that the job works. The job requires good project management skills and the ability to commit to the task on all fair days.

Rakentaminen

Building

• Työ sisältää näytteillepanoa, lastien purkua ja nikkarointia. Työ edellyttää suhteellisen hyvää fyysistä kuntoa, yhteistyötaitoja ja näppäriä käsiä.

• The work includes exhibiting, unloading cargo and picking. The work requires relatively good physical condition, cooperation skills and dexterous hands.

Ticket sales

• Tehtävänäsi on ovelta ostettavien lippujen myynti ja ennakkolippujen tarkistus. Työ edellyttää asiakaspalvelutaitoja.

• Your task is to sell tickets purchased at the door and check advance tickets. The job requires customer service skills.

Kierrätystiimi

Recycling team

• Kierrätystiimi opastaa ja auttaa asiakkaita kierrättämään oikein. Työ edellyttää asiakaspalvelutaitoja ja kykyä viedä roskakoreja ulos kierrätyspisteelle.

• The recycling team helps and guides customers to recycle properly. The job requires customer service skills and ability to take trashcans outside to our recycling point.

Siisteystiimi

Cleaning team

• Siisteystiimissä huolehdit messujen viihtyvyydestä, kierrätyksestä ja siisteydestä messujen ollessa käynnissä. Työ edellyttää oma-aloitteisuutta.

• In the cleaning team, you take care of the comfort, recycling and cleanliness of the fair while the fair is in progress. The work requires self-initiative.

Ovitiimi

Door team

• Ovella tehtävänäsi on varmistaa, että kulku sisään ja ulos on sujuvaa. Työ edellyttää kykyä seurata ohjeita.

• At the door, your job is to make sure that getting in and out is smooth. The job requires the ability to follow instructions.

Taukohuonetiimi

Breakroom hosts

• Taukohuoneessa tehtävänäsi on huolehtia vapaaehtoisten taukohuoneesta. Työ edellyttää hygieniapassin sekä kykyä toimia ruuan parissa.

• Your task is to take care of the volunteers' break room. The job requires a hygiene pass and the ability to work with food.

Exhibitors team

• Työ edellyttää kommunikointi- ja asiakaspalvelutaitoja, sekä valmiutta osallistua Vegemessujen toimintaan ennen tapahtumapäiviä.

• The job requires communication and customer service skills and the willingness to participate with Vegemessu's operations in advance before the event days.

Narikka ja infotiimi

Coatroom and info team

• Vaatesäilytyksessä narikkatiimi mm. ottaa vastaan asiakkaiden takkeja ja huolehtii aulatilan toimivuudesta. Työ edellyttää asiakaspalvelutaitoja ja huolellisuutta.

• In the coatroom, the team handles our customer’s jackets and takes care of the functionality of the lobby. The job requires customer service skills and accuracy.

Purku

Dismantling

• Tapahtuman jälkeen toteutuu purku! Työ edellyttää suhteellisen hyvää fyysistä kuntoa, yhteistyötaitoja ja näppäriä käsiä.

• After the event, demolition will take place! The work requires relatively good physical condition, cooperation skills and handy hands.
